Tactics of Hamas and the Prophet's Treaty of Hudaibiyya

MA Khan

The disastrous attack on Israel in 1967 by the Arab Muslim states in their perennial desire to annihilate the Jewish nation resulted in miserable defeat for the Arabs. Israel occupied a large chunk of Arab lands that included Sinai and Gaza from Egypt, West Bank from Jordan, Golan Heights from Syria. Israel's incredible single-handed defeat of the entire Arab world brought a new realization amongst the Arab nations that their dream of destroying the Jewish state, which they promised on the day of Israel's creation two decades earlier, cannot be materialized anymore (at least, not under the current strategy). Under such reality on the ground, Egypt and later Jordan, who had lost much of the occupied land in 6-day war, slowly extended hands of peace to Israel. As of now, only three Muslims countries out of 57, namely Turkey, Egypt and Jordan, recognize the existence of the Jewish state.

Although some moderate Muslim states have extended peace to the Zionist state, other fanatic Islamic nations lead by Iran and Syria have kept the fight for the destruction of Israel alive in various guises. The first was the emergence of Arafat-lead Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) terrorist outfit, which was in a ruminant stage during the 1967 war. After a couple of decades' deadly campaign of terror, PLO also came to the realization that the resilient Zionist state could not be destroyed and abandoned its congenital charter of Israel's destruction and instead succumbed to the idea of recognizing her legitimate existence.

With PLO joining the peace camp, new and more deadly terrorist outfits, namely Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and Al-Aqsa Martyrs brigade, emerged to perpetuate the campaign for the destruction of the Jewish state. One day, these apparently incorrigible militant groups might, out of despair, also decide to offer peace to the Jewish state. Most likely, there will emerge new violent Islamist groups to perpetuate the conflict.

Following interesting article appeared in our website:

Why more Islamic violence during the sacred fasting month?

The Islamic sacred fasting month of Ramadan ended on 23rd October ushering in the celebration of Eid on 24th October, which is a day of great feast and fun. In the midst of Eid celebration, a heart-breaking estimate of Ramadan month violence in a website caught my attention: “The holy month of Ramadan saw 291 deadly terror attacks in 17 countries across the globe racking up over 1600 dead bodies”. A few recent news-headlines also drew a grim picture of Islamist violence during the Ramadan month around the world. An Associated Press news headline on violence in Iraq read:
"Four days of sectarian slaughter killed at least 91 people by Monday in Balad, a town near a major U.S. air base an hour's drive north of the capital. Elsewhere, 60 Iraqis died in attacks and 16 tortured bodies were found...
During the same month is also projected to experience heaviest-ever coalition casualties surpassing 107 U.S. and 10 British soldiers died in January 2005."

A few days ago, an Los Angeles Times report (Violence Up During Ramadan) read: "Insurgent and sectarian attacks in the Iraqi capital have shot up during Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting and atonement, according to U.S. military statistics released Thursday." In the US military press-briefing on 19th October, spokesman said that violence was 22% higher in the period of Ramadan and this spike in violence was consistent with the previous increases.

Over in Thailand South, Islamist terrorist groups launched a wave of shootings resulting in 9 deaths on 16th October. Also Al-Qaeda, the dreadest Islamist terrorist group in the world, urged America Muslims to leave the US, for second time during this holy month, showing their intent to launch an attack before the end of Ramadan.

Against this holy-month upsurge in violence by the Islamist groups, there is a general notion amongst Muslims that violence and blood-bath is forbidden in Islam during the holy months. Recently, newspapers in Bangladesh were awash with news and commentaries about Government's dilemma over carrying out the execution during Ramadan of a number of deadly Islamic terrorists, who were sentenced to death for launching a decade-long campaign of terror resulting in nearly 200 deaths.

Another case requires mentioning here. Before the arrival of the first Ramadan after US coalition's misadventure in Iraq in 2003, the insurgency was taking an increasingly violent turn. As the Ramadan was approaching, the foreign troops and the interim Government pinned high hope for a respite in violence during the holy month of fasting and atonement. Yet, the leaders of the terrorists group had disputed the alleged prohibition of violence during Ramadan in Islam and vowed to continue their violent acts. And surprising all expectations and speculations of the pundits, the media and all others, the campaign of terror took an upward surge during Ramadan overtaking that of any previous period. During every subsequent Ramadan, violence in Iraq has shown consistent upsurge. This is true in case of other hot-spots of Islamic violence around the world.

Why is this upsurge in Islamist violence during the Ramadan defying the alleged prohibition? It is said that the Islamist terrorists follow the rituals and edicts of their religion seriously. An investigation of the Koran and events during the days of Prophet Muhammad, which determines the body of divinely-inspired Islamic ideals and laws for eternal times of Muslims, is essential to reach a conclusion regarding this riddle. My recent research into how Ramadan became a divine ritual in Islam gave me clue as to why there is increased violence by militant Muslim groups at various hot-spots across the world.

Court rejects suit over prophet cartoons

Associated Press Writer

A Danish court on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit filed by Muslim organizations against the newspaper that first published the Prophet Muhammad cartoons that touched off protests in the Islamic world. The City Court in Aarhus said it could not be ruled out that some Muslims had been offended by the 12 drawings printed in Jyllands-Posten, but said there was no reason to assume that the cartoons were meant to "belittle Muslims."

The newspaper published the cartoons on Sept. 30, 2005 with a text saying it was challenging a perceived self-censorship among artists afraid to offend Islam.
The caricatures were reprinted in European papers in January and February, fueling a fury of protests in the Islamic world. Some turned violent, with protesters killed in Libya and Afghanistan and several European embassies attacked.
Islamic law forbids any depiction of the prophet, even positive ones, to prevent idolatry.

"It cannot be ruled out that the drawings have offended some Muslims' honor, but there is no basis to assume that the drawings are, or were conceived as, insulting or that the purpose of the drawings was to present opinions that can belittle Muslims," the court said.

The seven Muslim groups filed the defamation lawsuit against the paper in March, after Denmark's top prosecutor declined to press criminal charges, saying the drawings did not violate laws against racism or blasphemy. The plaintiffs, who claimed to have the backing of 20 more Islamic organizations in the Scandinavian country, had sought $16,860 in damages from Jyllands-Posten Editor in Chief Carsten Juste and Culture Editor Flemming Rose, who supervised the cartoon project.

The lawsuit said the cartoons depict Muhammad "as belligerent, oppressing women, criminal, crazy and unintelligent, and a connection is made between the Prophet and war and terror." It said the drawings were published "solely to provoke and mock not only the Prophet Muhammad but also the Muslim population."

Hello Kafir Nation, and thank you for having me! Golly gee, it's kind of hard for me to even remember how this started up. Nevertheless, Ahmed Bedier of CAIR-Florida and I have exchanged words, shall we say, recently on the web. Actually, I was just called "Mr. Pimp" by Ahmed Bedier over at YouTube this evening because I had left a comment on one of his videos almost a week ago. Allah forbid! I mentioned a historical fact. This seems to enrage Mr. Bedier and causes him to accuse me of spreading lies. However, I can't even begin to lie when I'm still laughing my ass off over being called "Mr. Pimp" by a man who claims that he and CAIR are credible while we "hate bloggers" are not.

And why, you might ask, has CAIR representative Ahmed Bedier chosen to blast the entire anti-jihadi blogging community from the comments section of MY blog? I can't answer that one, folks. It may be that he just doesn't know about site meters yet, or that he knew that I'd get that he was doing an impression of the Emperor talking to Luke Skywalker in "Return of the Jedi". Well, that was the tone of it anyway, when he discussed our "weak alliance".

But since he is addressing all of us, apparently even LGF, Jihad Watch, etc., I figured I'd cross post some of Mr. Bedier's thoughts on our blogging here.

Example #1:

Ahmed Bedier said...

Your comment was approved and posted on my blog and I have responded to it. Most blogs are moderating comments. Everyone has to do that these days to avoid the spammers and the radicals.

Try posting a message on Little Green F(ee)tballs or (d)ihad watch and you'll quickly find out that it's censored.

You have a very distorted view of CAIR and myself. Our actions speak louder than your empty words and threats.

Who's trying to silence who? You and your friends are sooooo angry (I've read the hateful comments) that we have a voice on the web??
One of you actually put up some action alert to flag my videos on YouTube, another one has attacks on the guy that makes UmmahFilms? What is wrong with you, don't you have anything better to do?

We're speaking up against terror and violence, we're building bridges of understanding and working will the government and law enforcement and we are making a positive impact.

I'm sorry that I can not say the same thing for you and your weak alliance. All of you are using some anonymous screen names and are ashamed to publicly share those views. I doubt that anyone of significance will ever actually pay any attention to you.

How many of you are quoted in mainstream media?? That's what I thought.

3:50 AM

Oh yeah, I responded. With another post on my blog actually, and a few more on his rather hateful blog. He has kept it up on his site, on YouTube, and now back at What Would Charles Martel Do? this evening with yet more insults about bloggers. That's right, since people pay him to call me "Mr. Pimp" on the web, he has more credibility than I do. Sorry if I'm not buying that line! More:

Ahmed Bedier said...
Wow I didn't know I had such a fan club out there. I should start charging a membership fee. How about hosting a live chat with Ahmed Bedier. We can call it Bedier Raw, I'm joking of course.

How do you guys find the time to post and moderate and monitor, do you have lives?

I'm not sure I have the time to respond to all your questions and concerns or time to even respond to all the comments left on my blog.

But this is an interesting experience.

Hate bloggers: understand this, you will never be as credible as CAIR. No one cares about your hateful views. You are very shady folks with questionable backgrounds and motives. Continue to live your fantasy on the Internet.

7:16 PM

Ooooh, he sure told us! Oh that Ahmed, I've been laughing so hard ever since he called me Mr Pimp that I can't take anything seriously. But I figured everyone could use the update, especially as it was so poorly a paid CAIR representative....OK I'm giggling again. I'll repost the picture that I took of the CAIR-Florida "field trip" for the girls to Tampa's Busch Gardens. I think that picture is upsetting him somehow. I mean, who do you trust when "hate bloggers" from "shady backgrounds" show up with pictures of CAIR get togethers?

Feel free to share your thoughts on these subjects with the ever engaging Ahmed Bedier, he might just come up with bad nicknames for all of us in this "weak alliance" before he's done! Or to read my response to his parting shot. It's good to see where CAIR's putting their money though, finally. Paying some guy to call me Mr. Pimp. There you go. SCAIRY. Happy Halloween from CAIR!

Sharia law at Butler uni
Nye: In terms of the professors who engage in this behavior are, first and foremost, chicken. They know that Christians are a safe target. By and large, we take that "love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you (Matt 5:44)" seriously. On the other hand, they know Muslims offer a quite different response.

In terms of the hypocrisy, it doesn't make sense to me. They don't even try to hide it. For example, all students at Butler were required to take a course on Islam. We were required to purchase the Koran and handle it with respect. If we were carrying a stack of books the Koran had to be on top. One day, my professor even had us act out the five pillars of Islam in class. If you ask me, that's going too far. It'd be equivalent to having a required course on the Bible (which, like you said, would never happen) and partaking in communion or baptism during class.

I doubt there were any Muslims in my class, but if there were I can't help but think they would have been offended.

They prove "God Is violent by Quoting Christ "Bringing a sword" It is 3rd rate Taqiyya fully dependent on your ignorance to be convicing and directed at the media no one else.

The Threats Are Explicit

As our enemies have taken stock of what America and her allies will and will not do, they have grown bolder. As they have watched the divisive politics in America and the anti-American sentiment in Europe, they have grown bolder. As they have watched the pathetic impotence of the United Nations and the degree to which powerful nations hide behind diplomatic negotiations as an excuse to say a lot but do little, they have grown bolder.

Consider some recent statements for their clarity, boldness, and directness.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said the following:

To those who doubt, to those who ask is it possible, or those who do not believe, I say accomplishment of a world without America and Israel is both possible and feasible. Such people are using words like “it’s not possible.” They say how could we have a world without America and Zionism? But you know well that this slogan and goal can be achieved and can definitely be realized. We are in the process of an historical war between the World of Arrogance [i.e. the West] and the Islamic world, and this war has been going on for hundreds of years.

Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has claimed:

The world of Islam has been mobilized against America for the past twenty-five years. The peoples call, “death to America.” Who used to say “death to America”? Who, besides the Islamic Republic and the Iranian people, used to say this? Today, everyone says this. Iran’s stance has always been clear on this ugly phenomenon [i.e., Israel]. We have repeatedly said that this cancerous tumor of a state should be removed from the region.

Former Iranian president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani predicted:

If one day, the world of Islam comes to possess the weapons currently in Israel’s possession--on that day this method of global arrogance would come to an end. This is because the use of a nuclear bomb in Israel will leave nothing on the ground, whereas it will only damage the world of Islam.

Hassan Abbassi, Revolutionary Guards intelligence advisor to the Iranian president, asserted:

We have a strategy drawn up for the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization . . . We must make use of everything we have at hand to strike at this front by means of our suicide operations or by means of our missiles. There are 29 sensitive sites in the U.S. and in the West. We have already spied on these sites, and we know how we are going to attack them.

Osama bin Laden boasted:

The issue is big, and the misfortune is momentous. The most important and serious issue today for the whole world is this Third World War, which the Crusader-Zionist coalition began against the Islamic nation. I say to you that the war will be won either by us or by you. If it’s the former, loss and disgrace will be your lot for all eternity, and, Allah be praised, this is the way the wind is blowing. If it is the latter, you should read the history [books]. We are a nation that does not remain silent over injustice, and we seek blood vengeance all life long. Not [many] days and nights will pass before we take blood vengeance, like we did on 9/11--Allah willing.

Iraqi ayatollah Ahmad Husseini argued:

If the objective circumstances materialize, and subjective there are soldiers, weapons, and money--even if this means using biological, chemical, and bacterial weapons--we will conquer the world, so that “[t]here is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah” will be triumphant over the domes of Moscow, Washington, and Paris.

Chلvez has called on Iran to “save the human race, let’s finish off the U.S. empire.”

Watch France Die.
Little Green Footballs

French Intifada: Passenger Bus AttackedA band of up to 30 youths forced passengers out of a bus in a southern Paris suburb in broad daylight, set it on fire and then stoned firefighters who came to the rescue, a police official said.Police cordoned off the neighbourhood in Grigny, in the Essonne region, after the attack, which came five days before France marks the one-year anniversary of the start of three weeks of fiery riots by poor suburban youths.District police chief Jean-Francois Papineau called Sunday's bus attack "deliberate".

He said the vehicle was forced to stop at a road block at about 2 pm. Two youths then entered the back of the bus to clear out passengers before dousing it with petrol and setting it ablaze. The blaze gutted the bus and spread to four parked cars, Papineau told LCI television. When firefighters arrived, the youths began stoning them, he said. No-one was injured. At least one person was arrested. The local prefecture said nearly 30 youths were involved in the incident.
France Suburban Violence

EPINAY-SUR-SEINE, France - On a routine call, three unwitting police officers fell into a trap. A car darted out to block their path, and dozens of hooded youths surged out of the darkness to attack them with stones, bats and tear gas before fleeing. One officer was hospitalized. The recent ambush was emblematic of what some officers say has become a near-perpetual and increasingly violent conflict between police and gangs in tough, largely immigrant French neighborhoods that were the scene of a three-week paroxysm of rioting last year. One small police union claims officers are facing a "permanent intifada."

Police injuries have risen in the year since the wave of violence.National police reported 2,458 cases of violence against officers in the first six months of the year, on pace to top the 4,246 cases recorded for all of 2005 and the 3,842 in 2004. Firefighters and rescue workers have also been targeted — and some now receive police escorts in such areas. On Sunday, a band of about 30 youths, some wearing masks, forced passengers out of a bus in a southern Paris suburb in broad daylight Sunday, set it on fire, then stoned firefighters who came to the rescue, police said. No one was injured.

Two people were arrested, one of them a 13-year-old, according to LCI television. More broadly, worsening violence in France testifies to Europe's growing struggle to integrate its ethnic minorities. Some mainstream European politicians — adopting positions previously confined largely to far-right fringes — are suggesting that the minorities themselves are not doing enough to adapt to European mores.
My Conversion to Radical Islam
By Mike S. AdamsSunday,
September 17, 2006

Last Friday night, I went for a jog to relieve some stress after I found out my department denied my application for full professor. There’s something about being turned down by a diverse committee made up entirely of Democrats that causes a young Republican to search his soul for answers. And, thanks to Muhammad and Abdul, I found them.

I really wasn’t looking for these two proponents of the religion of peace but – all praise to Allah! - they sure found me. Of course, when I saw them riding up on their bicycles, I immediately assumed they were Mormons and picked up the pace. But, as they got nearer, I noticed they were too dark and brawny to be from Utah.

So I slowed down to chat for awhile.

Their pitch to me was different from the one I got as a Baptist. Rather than asking me what I planned to do with Jesus, they suddenly pointed their pistols at my head and demanded that I drop to my knees. Fearing a scene reminiscent of the one in Deliverance, I quickly gave my life to Allah. I’ve been a Muslim for nearly three days now. A happier and more peaceful man I’ve never been.

But, alas, my happiness turned to sorrow when I learned of your remarks regarding the great prophet Muhammad, founder of our religion of peace. Your quotation of an ancient text suggesting he was – and Islam is - “evil and inhuman” cannot be ignored. And the Vatican’s weak suggestion that you regret Muslims were offended by the remarks is no apology. Clearly, likeminded Muslims everywhere must respond immediately and disproportionately.

We are beginning our response by appealing directly to you. Our appeal takes the form of a demand that you apologize immediately - not through a spokesperson, but directly and publicly from the floor of the United Nations. If you do not follow our orders, we will hijack planes and fly them into the U.N. Headquarters in New York. You had better take us seriously. After all, we’ve done it before.

In the event that we must attack the U.N., you will be given another week to apologize. If you do not, we will storm the Vatican and take you hostage. You had better take us seriously. After all, we’ve done it before.

In the event that we must take you hostage, you will be given another week to apologize. If you do not, we will establish special rooms in the Vatican that we will use to gang rape your nuns. We will rape them repeatedly until you apologize. You had better take us seriously. After all, we’ve done it before.

In the event that we must gang rape your nuns, you will be given another week to apologize. If you do not, we will drive to Jacksonville, North Carolina to bomb a U.S. Marines barracks. You had better take us seriously. After all, we’ve done it before.

In the event that we must bomb the sleeping Marines, you will be given another week to apologize. If you do not, we will kill one of your beloved Catholics from the Kennedy family. You had better take us seriously. After all, we’ve done it before.
If none of this works, we will sit back and schedule two years worth of actions that will take us into the summer of 2008. If we don’t have our apology by then, we will take Israeli athletes hostage at the 2008 Summer Olympics. You had better take us seriously. After all, we’ve done it before.

I know that some will say it is irrational to threaten such acts in response to the accusation that we are “evil and inhuman.” Some will say we are playing into the hands of our accusers. But those who say such things are ignoring the fact that our disproportionate responses to such insults are richly rewarded.

I predict that you will capitulate eventually and, in so doing, teach our young Muslim brothers that widespread violence is indeed rational under the circumstances. While we are not inclined to admit it, we thank American homosexual activists for teaching us how to act like crazed sociopaths to effect social change.
I look forward to your apology, Pope Benedict. And if anyone quotes your offensive quotations, I will slit his throat in the name of Islam. Praise to almighty Allah and death to those who deem us evil and inhuman.

Update: After Pope Benedict offered a public apology, Dr. Adams (now Dr. Abdul Muhammad Adams) threatened the UNCW administration with Jihad unless it reversed the decision to deny his promotion to full professor. Shortly afterwards, he threatened to flush copies of The Vagina Monologues and the Communist Manifesto (both sacred and holy texts at his university) down the toilet of the Women’s Resource Center. The communists and feminists who denied his promotion reversed themselves immediately. Adams is now the Director of Middle Eastern Studies and a Jonathan Swift Distinguished Professor of Islamic Fundamentalist Satire.

Mike Adams is a criminology professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and author of Welcome to the Ivory Tower of Babel: Confessions of a Conservative College Professor.
